Manch supports two distinct financial relationships: platform subscription payments made by academies to Nausha Technologies, and course payments made by learners to academies using Manch. The payment flow and responsibility for refunds depend on the payment arrangement configured for the transaction.
01.Two-Tier Financial and Transaction Framework
Manch provides software and infrastructure services to academies. Course payments and platform subscription payments are entirely separate transactions:
Academies pay Nausha Technologies for access to Manch features and resources, such as storefronts, dashboards, course management, video storage, live-class resources, AI credits, and instructor seats, according to the selected plan. Subscription and add-on charges are governed by this Policy, the applicable plan description, checkout information, and the Terms of Service.
Learners purchase courses, batches, or other educational services offered by an academy. The academy determines its course pricing and applicable course refund terms, subject to applicable law. Manch's role in a course transaction depends on the configured payment model and the actual transaction flow.
- Bring Your Own Gateway (BYOG): The academy uses its own payment gateway account. Payments and refunds are generally handled directly through that account without Manch handling learner funds.
- Razorpay Route:Payments are processed through the configured Manch payment arrangement, with eligible funds transferred to the academy's linked account according to the payment provider's rules and settlement process.
A payment passing through a Manch-configured Route integration does not mean the funds are held in escrow or that settlement is immediate.
02.Manch Platform Subscription Fees and Refunds
Manch offers subscription options that may include Free Sandbox, Starter Academy, Growth, and Professional. Available plans, features, prices, billing periods, and payment arrangements are displayed through the relevant product or checkout experience.
Where available, the Free Sandbox allows eligible users to evaluate supported platform features within the limits of the free plan. Free-plan availability, resource limits, and inactivity rules may change as described in the applicable plan terms.
Paid subscriptions provide access to software features and allocated cloud resources during the selected billing period. Fees are generally non-refundable once a paid subscription has been activated, except where:
- A duplicate charge is verified;
- A billing or payment-processing error is verified;
- An excess payment is confirmed;
- A refund is required by applicable law; or
- Nausha Technologies approves an exception in writing.
Where a refund is approved, the amount and method of refund will depend on the transaction, applicable terms, payment-provider rules, and any legally required adjustment.
Unless the applicable plan terms or law provide otherwise, cancelling during an active prepaid billing period does not entitle the academy to a prorated refund for unused days, unused storage, unused AI credits, unused live-stream hours, unused instructor seats, or other unused allocations. Any applicable taxes, gateway charges, or deductions will be handled according to law and the disclosed terms of the transaction.
03.Infrastructure Add-Ons, Usage Limits and Billing
Depending on the plan, academies may purchase additional resource allocations, including encrypted storage, AI credits, live-stream hours, instructor seats, or other supported capabilities.
An add-on becomes available according to its activation and provisioning status. Add-on charges are generally non-refundable once activated or consumed, except for verified duplicate charges, billing errors, excess payments, legal requirements, or an exception approved in writing. An add-on does not automatically renew unless its checkout or subscription terms specify recurring billing.
Each plan has defined resource limits. The platform may restrict the affected feature when an academy exceeds a quota or its entitlement expires:
- 30-Day Storage Grace Period: For storage overages, Manch may provide a grace period—currently intended to be up to 30 days where the applicable plan and platform lifecycle rules provide for it—during which the academy can remove content or purchase additional capacity.
- Upload Freeze: If the overage remains unresolved after the grace period, Manch may pause new uploads or restrict storage-related features. Continued access to existing videos depends on account status, plan terms, and technical availability; uninterrupted playback is not guaranteed.
- Independent Quota Restrictions: Other exhausted resources are restricted immediately when exhausted: AI requests pause when AI credits reach zero; live-class streaming halts without live entitlements; and additional instructor invitations are blocked once seat limits are reached.
04.Subscription Cancellation, Renewal and Downgrades
Academies may cancel, renew, or adjust their subscriptions in accordance with the platform lifecycle rules:
An academy may cancel a subscription through the available dashboard controls or by contacting support where self-service cancellation is unavailable. Unless checkout terms state otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and the subscription remains available through the end of the current prepaid billing period. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically purge all account data immediately; data retention, export, and deletion are governed by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Academies should review plan renewal amounts and applicable taxes. Where a payment fails, renewal is not completed, or a payment provider reports an issue, access to paid features may be restricted according to the applicable plan terms.
A downgrade may reduce storage, AI credits, live-stream hours, or instructor seats. Before a downgrade takes effect, the academy should review its usage and bring it within the new limits or purchase a compatible add-on. Where usage exceeds the new plan's limits, Manch may recommend available add-ons or require usage reduction.
Academies should export available records they are entitled to retain before cancellation, suspension, or account closure. Export options vary by data type, plan, and technical limits. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
05.Learner Course Refunds and Academy Policies
The academy offering the course is solely responsible for publishing and administering its course pricing, cancellation terms, refund eligibility, and learner support process, subject to applicable law. Before purchasing a course, learners should review the refund and cancellation terms displayed by the relevant academy and contact the academy directly.
For a purchase made through an academy's own payment gateway, refund requests are generally handled by the academy through its own gateway account. The gateway provider's processing times, verification requirements, and refund rules apply. Manch does not control the academy's independent payment account or guarantee that the gateway will approve or complete a refund.
For a purchase made through the configured Razorpay Route arrangement, the academy remains responsible for its course refund policy and the underlying validity of a refund. Where the Route integration supports a refund and associated transfer reversal, Manch may submit the relevant request to the payment provider. Completion depends on the provider's response, transaction status, available funds, and provider rules.
A refund request submitted through Manch is not confirmation that the refund has completed. Learners and academies should monitor transaction status and allow applicable provider processing times.
Learners should contact the academy using the contact information on its storefront for course-specific refund requests. If the issue concerns a Manch platform technical error or the handling of a payment through the platform, contact Manch at info@nausha.in. Nothing in this Policy prevents a learner from exercising statutory consumer rights.
06.Chargebacks, Reversals and Payment Disputes
A chargeback, UPI reversal, fraud claim, bank dispute, or other payment contest may result in funds being withheld, reversed, or recovered under applicable payment-provider rules:
The academy must cooperate with relevant dispute investigations and provide accurate supporting information when requested (order details, enrolment records, course access logs, communications, refund history, and relevant evidence) within the deadline set by the provider. Manch may assist with platform records but does not guarantee a particular dispute outcome.
For BYOG transactions, the academy manages disputes directly through its own gateway account and is solely responsible for chargeback fees, penalties, reversals, or amounts allocated under its merchant agreement.
For Route transactions, provider rules and actual fund-transfer status determine available dispute and recovery procedures. Where appropriate, Manch may restrict the affected order or enrolment while a material dispute is investigated, restoring access if resolved in the academy's favour.
Where an amount is attributable to an academy and is recoverable from it under applicable agreements and law, Manch may seek recovery from future settlements where permitted. If a shortfall remains, Manch may invoice or contact the academy for the outstanding amount. Manch does not guarantee that disputed amounts will be recovered or that future settlements will be sufficient.
